Now the famous brands of short wave radio receivers like ICOM, YAESU, KENWOOD, and many others no longer manufacture only SW receivers. You can buy a tranceiver but price minimum is around 1300 US $. On many web site like EBAY it is possible to find second hand serious radio receiver pour a good price. Beware of sellers who are not reliable, and it is difficult to find used parts to repair your radio receiver. In some parts of the world it is also difficult to find a technician capable of repairing this type of radio receiver.
They are a lot of radio receivers who was made in the past.
