The Yaesu FT-891 is a very compact mobile and portable transceiver for all shortwave and 6m bands. The receiver is designed as a triple super (FM: double super) and thus allows very good values regarding sensitivity and behavior of large signals. A 3 kHz roof filter is fitted as standard and ensures good proximity selection. With the TCXO, which is also factory-fitted, the transceiver achieves a frequency stability of ±0.5 ppm.

In the IF, the FT-891 is equipped with a powerful 32-bit signal processor (DSP). In addition, there is the usual Yaesu tuner/linear socket, so existing accessories can also be used with the FT-891. The ATAS-120A mobile antenna can also be used with the transceiver. The antenna connection is made via an SO-239 socket; For convenient adaptation with other antennas, the new FC-50 automatic coupler is offered. It is also possible to use weatherproof FC-40 for the end wires. Other connections are available for REM/ALC, a Morse key and an external speaker.

L'alimentation de 13,8 V / 23 A est possible avec un adaptateur secteur, mais aussi par batterie mobile ou lors d'une journée de terrain ou d'une expédition.

This TX RX YAESU is a little expensive but very good quality made in JAPAN. it will not be hard to sale on second hand market if you want to buy another TX or RX.
